Scripture

This is where we will give you some Scripture that will hopefully help as you evangelize.  There will be different categories so you know where to look for specific stuff.  We will add more as we come to it.

Prayer-

Scripture-

The Holy Spirit-

Persecution- Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Luk 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

Rom 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Salvation by Faith- Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no man can boast.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (Great verse for those who believe that confessing sins to a priest will get them to heaven.)

Encouragement- 2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

John 3:17 For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

Acts 8:12 But now the people believed Philip’s message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized.

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Miscellaneous- John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  (Great verse to use when you are witnessing)

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.

Romans 5:18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Sin- James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.(If someone says that saying a couple lies or something doesn’t make them needful of Jesus.)

Evangelize-Matthew 28: 19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  (This is called the Great Commission.  This is Jesus telling us to evangelize.)

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Matthew 22:39b Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (If you would would want someone to tell about Jesus’s salvation from hell if you were going there, you’d better tell others.)
Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. (Are you bringing fruit into the kingdom of God?)

John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
